Administrators create the fees in Medalyst, either for the whole team or for individual players. Athletes or parents pay by card through Stripe. Medalyst tracks every payment, so the treasurer always knows who has paid and who still owes.

For clubs that want player development and equipment tracking alongside membership and payments, Medalyst is a strong SportMember alternative. It covers membership fees with automatic reminders, attendance and group messaging, and adds written player feedback, equipment inventory and learning materials.
In the UK, SportMember’s Basic plan costs £0 per member and PRO costs £0.16 per member a month, with a minimum of £22 a month, excluding VAT. Payments carry an administrative fee of £0.35 + 1%, and the club decides whether the member or the club pays it. In Germany, PRO costs €0.18 per member a month.
Medalyst is one plan with every module included, priced per athlete per month: €0.96 for clubs with 25 to 200 athletes, €0.86 for 200 to 500 and €0.72 for 500 to 1,000, or €0.76, €0.69 and €0.57 on a three-year commitment. Prices exclude VAT. For clubs above 1,000 athletes, we’ll put together a custom quote. The core features of the mobile app are free.
